This fella is Buddy, the newest foster member of the pack. The shelter was asking for a volunteer to foster him because he was having seizures and needed to be monitored. I couldn't raise my hand fast enough. Ooh, ooh, pick me! And so began the journey home.
He didn't seem all that thrilled with the drive home. He was shaking the whole time but we made it. Then came the outdoor introductions to the pack. He seemed to love the backyard. He was checking everything out and "doing the perimeter check" for us. Next was the intro to the house.
With some coaxing we got him in the house. He didn't really know what to do after that. It was unknown if he was potty trained and by the looks of it, he wasn't used to be indoors. He didn't venture far from the back door and made no attempt to leave the kitchen. He just layed there watching us and grumbling if another animal came too close. I'm no psychic but I picked up on the clues that he had had enough for the day. He was super smelly but we decided to wait another day for a bath. That's a whole 'nother story...
